The Himalayan Garden & Sculpture Park in North Yorkshire are looking for creatives to take part in their 2026 ‘Sculptures in the Landscape’ exhibition, set alongside the permanent collection of 90 mixed media pieces, to enhance the landscape and inspire and challenge audiences of all ages when visiting the 45-acre award winning garden & parkland in North Yorkshire.

The Park’s charitable objectives are the advancement of the arts, horticulture and environmental protection, particularly but not exclusively by promoting the cultivation and conservation of rare and endangered plant species of the world and the use of sculpture within natural and cultivated landscapes.

Be seen by tens of thousands of visitors over seven months

Being part of the Himalayan Garden’s ‘Sculpture in the Landscape’ Exhibition can provide a variety of advantages for artists. The Garden attracts tens of thousands of visitors annually, offering exposure beyond traditional gallery audiences. Sculptures remaining on display for seven months, provides a variety of seasonal backdrops for the artwork. Different visitor demographics and a steady stream of organic social media sharing by visitors, local press and tourism partners also amplifies visibility.

The 45-acre garden and woodland setting encourages site-specific creativity and experimentation with new materials and techniques. This group exhibition can also foster networking with other artists, collaboration, and promotion through partners’ platforms, driving traffic to artists’ websites. Finally, the onsite team go out of their way to help artists when installing and decommissioning their work in the garden, to make it an enjoyable visit for them to!

No commission on sales and an excellent selling opportunity

The Garden itself has won many Royal Horticultural Society (RHS) in Bloom Awards and as an RHS Partner garden enjoys increased awareness with RHS Members, enhancing professional credibility which could strengthen artists portfolios and future applications. With no commission on sales, artists retain full proceeds, and the extended exhibition period increases opportunities for sales and commissions with over 70 pieces selling in the 2025 exhibition.
